Registry Ontology's Status Vocabulary

Description

This vocabulary is a re-publication of the Registry Ontology's Status vocabulary (online in RDF). This re-publication has been performed to allow for the URIs of each vocab term (skos:Concept) to resolve to both human-readable and machine-readable forms (HTML and RDF, respectively) using HTTP content negotiation.

Note that just like the original form of this vocabulary, while it is a SKOS vocabulary implemented as a single Concept Scheme, it is also an OWL Ontology and that each Status is both a skos:Concept and a reg:Status.

Although in general 'status' is obviously an appropriate name for a Status ontology, we could leave 'status' as a reserved keyword. In a hypermedia architecture http://linked.data.gov.au/def/status could be used to make a RESTful query on the status of all the ontologies/vocabularies in the registry.

I would therefore propose for this specific instance to say something like statusOntology, status-voc, status-ont. It shouldn't be a precedent for using voc, ont or similar in general, as the /def already indicates that these are definitional resources. However, we may want to use -voc for SKOS vocabularies.

How about status reg-status rather than status-voc or status-ont? This narrows the name to a derivative of the Registry: Status class, so something more specific than just 'status' and avoids the resource typing in 'ont' or 'voc'.
